The College of DuPage, or COD, is a two-year community college, with its main campus located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
The college serves students residing in Illinois' Community College District 502, which is most of DuPage County and parts of Cook County and Will County.
Due to the commuting nature of the college's early students, the Chaparral was adopted as the college's mascot.

 CODAA Contract
This agreement is entered into this day, by and between the Board of Trustees of College of DuPage, hereinafter called the Board, or the College, and the College of DuPage Adjuncts Association IEA/NEA, hereinafter called the Association.
This provision shall not be applicable to bargaining unit members as of June 1, 2002 who notify the Board in writing within thirty (30) days of the effective date of this agreement of their desire to be exempted from this provision.
The fees and expenses of the arbitrator and the American Arbitration Association shall be shared equally by the College and the Union.  The parties likewise shall share the expenses of any transcript(s) which they may jointly request, but all other expenses which may be incurred by either party shall be borne by that party.

There is the robotics and sensor lab, a microelectronic design lab, a class 100 clean room, an application oriented DSP lab with an anechoic chamber, an RF communication slab with a walk in shielded enclosure, an out-of-doors antenna testing tower, a dedicated computer lab, an image processing lab, and a biomedical signal analysis lab.
Remaining classes to be taken at NIU's College of Engineering and Engineering Technology to earn a major in Electrical Engineering.
