According to a photo of a Colombian (Navy) helicopter, the Aviación Naval is using the same roundel of the Colombian Air Force but superimposed on an anchor (white one in the photo).

The colors on the Colombian CGFM flag are light blue on top (airforce), red on the middle (ground forces) and dark blue on the bottom (navy).
The second Force was the Navy (its foundation date is considered to be 1824, the year the Naval Battle of Maracaibo was fought, defeating the whole Spanish domain in the South American territory, except for minor engagements that took place inland in 1825).

 Chile - Development of the Armed Forces
It was precluded from overt involvement in the development of the Chilean military and naval air arms by the Treaty of Versailles.
The military and naval air services were merged as the Chilean Air Force (Fuerza Aérea de Chile--FACh) on March 21, 1930, thereby becoming the world's fourth independent military air arm.

This list was produced as an adjunct to the CNA work on U.S. Navy and Marine Corps crisis-response activity that was undertaken at the request of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Plans, Policy, and Operations (OP-06).
The methodological definition used in that work to determine "crisis-response actions" specifically excludes humanitarian operations, because the intent of that study is to examine operations that are considered to have at least a latent potential to lead to international conflict.
Naval forces are frequently called on to respond to disasters--both natural and man-made.

A 1927 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a veteran Marine aviator, General Munn served as Commanding General of the Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California, from May 1963 until his retirement.
On the occasion of his retirement, General Munn was awarded a Gold Star in lieu of a second Navy Commendation Medal by the Secretary of the Navy for outstanding service during his latter two assignments as well as for his distinguished contribution to the United States during over 37 years as a Marine officer.
Following his designation as a Naval aviator in January 1931, he remained at Pensacola for two months of advanced training, then served for six months at the Naval Air Station, San Diego, California.

 JFK Rolls Out Red Carpet for South American Submariners
NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. (NNS) -- The crew aboard USS John F. Kennedy (JFK) (CV 67) laid out the welcome mat and extended a warm "bienvenido" to a group of Sailors from both the Peruvian and Colombian navies April 7.
Sailors stationed aboard ARC Pijao (SS-28), a conventionally-powered submarine in the Colombian fleet, and the Peruvian submarine BAP Antofagasta (SS-32) were treated to a tour of the Mayport, Fla.-based aircraft carrier.
The Colombian and Peruvian submarines are pierside in the basin at Naval Station Mayport to participate in an anti-submarine training exercise called "Smart Search." Downtime in the exercise provided the perfect occasion for sailors from both foreign navies to step aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier for the first time in their careers.

The Colombian Air Force dates back to 1922 with the creation of a Military Aviation School in Flandes (the school was closed within two years due to financial difficulties).
In 1943 military and naval air units were officially coalesced into the Colombian Air Force (Fuerza Aerea Colombiana- FAC).
The Colombian Air Force had some 6,700 personnel in 1988, including approximately 1,900 conscripts, about 8 percent of the country's military forces.

On October 1, 1986, ESTOCIN officially became part of the Naval Reserve Force (NRF) reported to Naval Surface Warfare Group Four, homeported in Philadelphia, PA. Upon joining the NRF, ESTOCIN operated primarily in the western Atlantic in support of Naval Reserve Training (NRT) and active fleet commitments.
In January of 1994, ESTOCIN again changed her homeport moving to Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. ESTOCIN was again selected for a Great Lakes Cruise in the summer of 1994.
On 26 April 1967, in support of a coordinated strike against the vital fuel facilities in Haiphong, he led an attack on a threatening SAM site, during which his aircraft was seriously damaged by an exploding SAM; nevertheless, he regained control of his burning aircraft and courageously launched his SHRIKE missiles before departing the area.
