I just picked up a new color printer and I'd like ColorSync to be able to handle the output of having what's on screen match what comes out on the printer.
Then when you created your.ps file you selected the output device profile and the media profile and I have to say 75% of the time the color was consistent from Piezo Ink jet prints to dye sub electro static fabric banners the first time.
ColorSync was perfect with my Epson Stylus Color 680 but the it's been a nightmare printing accurate colors with it.

ColorSync is supposed to manage profiles, so is it better to use or bypass this facility when using custom-made profiles printing to an Eposn printer?
If using colorsync in the driver you will be using the drivers colour management which isnt as comprehensive as Adobe Color Engine.
However, him saying that he sees a difference between the image set to NCA and the image when set to Colorync is enough for me to believe this s not correct.
