		The dark green and pink regions in the upper right are areas that are not part of the set, and traditionally is where much of the colour banding occurs.
		However, the colour filters have added banding and sweeps in that range, adding interest to what would otherwise be a very boring segment of the image.
		Programs like Fractint, which use the traditional iterative colouring methods, are much better utilised for understanding and learning about Fractals, whereas programs that have complex filters are better for producing beautiful pieces of art.

		Shorebirds are usually marked with colour bands and/or coloured 'flags' (colour bands with a tab of varying length that sticks out from the leg).
		For example, all shorebirds banded during spring migration 1990 at Little Quill Lake, Saskatchewan, were marked with a white flag over a metal band on the upper left leg, and a white flag over a red colour band on the upper right leg.
		In the same area, birds captured during fall migration in 1990 were given a white flag over a metal band on the upper left leg, and a red or dark green colour band on the lower right leg.

		There is only one record of a crane banded as young in 1989, that has been later (spring 1996) seen with their own young, thus we should wait for a larger sample to conclude about this parameter.
		Colour banding has proved to be an excellent way to improve our knowledge of some aspects of crane ecology and behaviour, although certain life history parameters require larger sample sizes.
		Colour banded cranes should be carefully observed, whenever possible, to check all familiar relationships, and specially a) if they are paired, and b) if they have any young.

		There are two research projects involving banding and observation of birds currently being conducted in the Lakes National Park on or in the near vicinity of Rotamah Island and a third in the Lake Wellington Wetlands.
		The first is a longstanding study over twenty years of the bush bird population of Rotamah while the second is a specific study into aspects of the breeding biology of the striated fieldwren which involves colour banding and nest observation.
		The Lake Wellington Study involves site specific colour banding and monitoring of the bird populations of the fragmented habitat adjacent to the Western end of Lake Wellington and along the Latrobe River between Lake Wellington and Sale.

		This is banding effect in the colour fade from blue to green, (difference in colour as it goes up in all the blue and green background area).
		The banding is obvious in 16bit setting but in 32bit, it is hard to see, but I can see banding in the center where the colors are changing, not on the solid colors though.

		Most computers have been at 24 bit colour or higher for the better part of a decade, so you may not remember what photos looked like in 16 bit colour...but I'm reminded of that every time I look at a photo or (especially) when I watch a video on the X50v.
		The colour banding is most evident with video files, but it's noticeable with photos as well - especially ones with a solid colour wall.
		The difference between 8 bit colour and 16 bit is certainly very dramatic, but 16 and 24 is not half as significant.

		That banding can be in Silver or the recessive Golden as in the classic tabby.
