	Photograph - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Most photographs are made with a camera, which focuses the light onto either photographic film or a CCD or CMOS image sensor.
		Photographs can also be made by placing objects on photosensitive paper and exposing it to light (the result is often called a photogram) or by placing objects on the platen of a flatbed scanner (see scanner art).
		In the two-step process, the film holds a negative image (colours and lights/darks are inverted), which is then transferred onto photographic paper as a positive image.

		This colour digital photograph of three cans of Hair Flair coloured hairspray was taken some time between 1982 and 1986, long before digital photography became practical.
		Taking one picture illuminated in red light, one in green, and one in blue, the resultant three photographs, (each with a real resolution of 160 x 256), were stored on a 5.25in floppy disc for about twenty years before being assembled into the resulting colour picture.
		Another interesting point is that Hair Flair coloured hairspray is still available 20 years later and with the same artwork.
