Pending a formal agreement, the suspension of operations will be done in cooperation with the Frontier League Board of Directors, who today approved the major terms for both the Mavericks and the Ohio Valley Redcoats to suspend operations for the 2006 season.
While the Mavericks will evaluate sites in other cities, they have stated repeatedly that their preference is to remain in Columbia.
