Columbus (NFL) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Columbus Panhandles were a football team from Columbus, Ohio in the National Football League.
The Panhandles were originally formed in 1904 by Joseph F. Carr who was to become the NFL president from 1921-1938 that many consider the architect for the leagues success.
Joining the young NFL was the death blow to the team because they were just a good sandlot team and most of the members were getting old and could not compete with the younger college trained athletes.

If you are a culprit of such behavior or this becomes a shameful factor in your life, please be considerate enough to remain in your basement, thus nobody will notice that you are an absolute bastard.
Seize your share of Columbus Day while it's still so glorious and free, before the politicians work out a way to tax it so that you only end up with 43.5% of Columbus Day after the Feds get 35%, state government siezes 10% and the local government requires a Columbus Day Wheel Tax.

Based on subsequent NFL expansion to boomtowns like Seattle, Tampa Bay, Charlotte and Jacksonville, there is no way in hell they'd have expanded to a rust-belt town like Cinti.
