Whilst I accept that the "crash" proved the flasks are pretty robust a friend of mine who is a structural engineer was one of the team on the day who applied some paint to the flask after the collision to mask a few "worrying" cracks.
A second section from Colwich to Cheadle is passed for tilt at 110mph.
No-one in their right mind, except an >enthusiast for rail, would consider the current rate of spending on >our national railways to be money well spent.
