Submission wrestling (also called submission fighting, and technically referred to as submission grappling) is a general term describing the aspect of martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds.
Submission grappling is very common in association with Catch Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the main difference being that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners wear the traditional judogi while submission grapplers do not wear the gi, instead they might wear shorts and a T-shirt.
Combat Submission Wrestling (A modern form of submission wrestling that borrows elements and techniques from catch wrestling and Shooto.This style also has a highly developed system of striking borrowed from various martial arts).
