The Combined Counties Football League is a regional English football league comprised of teams in several counties near London.
League champions are eligible for promotion to the Ryman Isthmian League, if their stadium facilities and arrangements are deemed adequate; if the champion does not qualify, the runner-up may be offered for election to the higher league.
The Select Appointments Surrey County Senior League and RSR Tyres Middlesex County League are beneath the CCL in the National League System pyramid.

The club gained some success in the Intermediate League, the first team winning the Premier Division Challenge Cup in 1972, whilst the reserves were runners-up in the First Division B League.
In 1978 the club applied for, and were granted, senior status and were accepted into the Combined Counties Football League for the start of the 1979/80 season.

The Tipperary County Board are delighted to announce that Enfer have agreed to continue their sponsorship of Tipperary teams for a further 5 years up to and including the 2009 season.
The County Quarter-finals are fixed for September 18th or 25th, with the semi-finals down for October 2nd and the Cidona County Senior Hurling final fixed for Sunday, October 16th.
The Premier Division final in the Adult Football League has been also fixed for April 17th while April 24th is the date for the Division 1 and 2 finals.

To assess a Club’s facilities the Ryman League award a grade to each ground, either A, B or C. Ashford entered the 3rd Division of the League the season before last having been granted the minimum Grade C level.
Under the rules of the Ryman League all clubs competing in the newly formed regional divisions will have to possess a B-graded ground, the deadline for which is 1 April 2002.
They also comment that whilst Surrey County Council have issued a safety licence for a larger number of people, their advice is based solely on the merits of a specific application with respect to local or adjacent hazards.

In 1990, the Club applied for membership of the Combined Counties Football League and were accepted after being granted senior status by the Berks Bucks County Football Association.
The first two seasons were disastrous when they finished in bottom place on each occasion and only escaped relegation back to the Chiltonian Football League at the end of the second season due to the vacancy created by the departure of Steyning Town to the Sussex County Football League.

The Council shall decide annually in the light of the number of teams eligible to compete whether either Competition shall be run wholly or partly to the Final on a one or two-leg basis.
However, a player with its First Team competing in the Competition, and also in the Senior Cup to which it is affiliated, shall not be disqualified because of the appearances for that Club in Competitions listed under this Rule.
When a player in a Final is ordered to leave the field of play for misconduct, the award to which he may be entitled may be withheld at the discretion of the Council.

Funny how the passion for football at Milton Keynes couldnt be translated cos if it had been they would have been sitting alongside us in the Football League and we would have admired them as much as we did our own team.
Although they managed to win the league and cup double last season in the Kent League they could not be promoted further because they are ground sharing with Sittingbourne.
I now watch my football at Chipstead FC who are in the Combined Counties League and look forward to seeing the Dons next season with mixed emotions.

So Saturday 23rd November sees the top two clash in the Seagrave Haulage Combined Counties Football League.
It's safe to say that this wont game wont decide the championship one way or the other but a victory for AFC Wallingford would once again put them well on the way to the championship with only Withdean 2000 looking like challenging for the title.
Like most teams in the CCL Wallingford's ground is basic and at present doesn't meet the ground criteria for the Rymans League.
