	Comfortably Numb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		"Comfortably Numb" is a song from the album The Wall by Pink Floyd, music written by David Gilmour (with additional notes by Waters), lyrics by Roger Waters.
		In 2003, legendary British Pub Rocker Graham Parker released a solo acoustic version of "Comfortably Numb" on the two-disc compilation A Fair Forgery of Pink Floyd (title taken from Roger Waters' 1987 assessment of the A Momentary Lapse of Reason LP viz "A pretty fair forgery").
		The word "I" in the chorus lyric "I have become, comfortably numb" is sung with the same style as the repeated "Ah ha ha ha" in the chorus of "Staying Alive".

		Sounds horrendous, but thankfully 'Comfortably Numb' by the Scissor Sisters is a glam-stomp monster of a track.
		Comftorably Numb is a great song and you would be hard pressed to find someone who denies this, so I understand (and agree) that there is a certain expectation whenever anyone attempts to work with this song.
		To put it bluntly, Pink Floyd's original version of Comfortably Numb is a track I can't listen to unless I'm in a certain frame of mind, because it is sure to depress me to no end, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
