  Coming Home(R): Affordable Assisted Living
Coming Home: Affordable Assisted Living (Coming Home) is a 13-year, $13.2-million national program created in 1992 by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and NCB Capital Impact (formerly NCB Development Corporation) to develop affordable models of assisted living, with a focus on smaller and rural communities and low-income seniors.
Coming Home staff found that one of the keys to a successful project is to find a sponsor that has development expertise and, if possible, internal equity capital that can be used for some of the early-stage financing of feasibility and/or pre-development costs not covered by the revolving loan fund.
Coming Home staff has found that unless a developer can access both significant public financing at concessionary terms, and the assisted-living facility is built in a state with a Medicaid system that is favorable to providing reimbursement for some or all of the supportive services, it cannot have 100 percent affordable units.

The only known stage version of Always Coming Home was mounted at Naropa University in 1993 (with Le Guin's approval) by Ruth Davis-Fyer.

The strength of "Coming Home" is its realistic portrayal of the emotional effects of war on individuals far removed from battle.
In particular, the film calls attention to the difficulties, hardships, and trauma that paraplegic vets are forced to endure, as a result of governmental neglect.
The emphasis here is on life after combat, upon returning home, and the ensuing experiences, personal feelings and relationships, and the drudgery of everyday life.

Lionel Richie's eighth studio album as a solo artist is led by "I Call It Love," a lightly buoyant and bittersweet single produced by Swedish hitmakers Stargate, the same team that helped boost Ne-Yo's In My Own Words.
Too much of Coming Home is merely pleasant -- particularly the adult contemporary fare, with the exception of "I Love You" -- or too conscious of remaining with the times.
While the likes of "Why" and "Up All Night" involved Richie's songwriting in some capacity, just about any twentysomething vocalist could be fronting them; the same goes for the Jermaine Dupri-produced "What You Are." The stab at emotionally cleansing reggae of the Bob Marley variety, "Stand Down," comes up short as well.
