 The Iron Maiden Commentary
Killers is not a concept album, but many of the songs do share a certain commonality.
This was a single in England that wasn't on the British album.
The song was later recorded by Samson on their 1980 album Head On whereas Iron Maiden recorded it in 1981 on Killers.

Hello, I'm e-mailing you in regards to you web-site on the band 'Naked', and I was wondering if you could help me. Due to the commonality of their name it is rather difficult for me to find out any information whatsoever on any other recordings (besides the self-titled album) they might have made.
The photography for the album was taken at the Salton Sea south of LA. Petur says this area is particularly stinky, especially at low tide when they did the photography for the album.
It's a shame that the album isn't availible in Germany.

 :: Rock Island - Reviews ::
Rock Island fulfills the promise of great folk music: it seeks to foster the commonality and truth of shared experience -- of the song to be sure, but also of cultures thrown together in a confusing, bewildering time.
ALL MUSIC GUIDE Yarrow's ultra-modern musical argument on the album Rock Island is a convincing one.
INDIE-MUSIC.COM The outstanding CD, Rock Island, is a collection of traditional folk songs brought back to glorious, pulsing, dramatic life by an artist whose delicate voice breathes from the depths of a gothic spirit.

Proof (rapper) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Proof named the album after the former Grateful Dead front man because he observed uniqueness within a universal quality to express freedom and commonality juxtaposed with the ills that led to Garcia's demise.
Proof, being a huge fan of Jerry Garcia, chose this date to release the album as it marks the 10th year anniversary of the day Garcia died.
The following year, Proof collaborated with Dogmatic for the Promatic album and joined Eminem's 'Anger Management' tour in support of the release.

Strays - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bob Ezrin: My job on Strays was to bring a sort of commonality to the process and make everyone think it was a group effort again and not just a bunch of solo projects trying to be strung together.
It was released on July 22, 2003, and was the only album the band released when they reformed with Chris Chaney on bass.

Jeff Coffin Mu'tet - Go Round CD
Coffin's brand new album Go-Round picks up where his award winning and highly acclaimed 1999 release Commonality (2000 Nashville Music Award Winner for Jazz Album of the Year) left off.
From Jeff Coffin's opening notes, it's obvious that he has been influenced by some of the premier jazz players of our time - Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman and John Coltrane to name a few.
It's also apparent that no matter how powerful those influences are, Coffin's sound has a freshness, universality and freedom to it that makes it completely his own.

 BNR Metal Pages -- Lengsel
Lengsel was formed in 1995 by guitarist Tor Magne Glidje, who by the time of this band's album release in 2000 was also in Extol.
Musically, there is some commonality with older Extol, the style being more or less based in black metal but with some interesting outside influences (some nice acoustic guitar work, for one) thrown in the mix.
Solace is a pretty inventive album, quite well done and worth tracking down.

 Backroads Music: Lloyd's Picks
Jonn's cosmic musical poetry finds the commonality between music and astronomy, specifically tuned into the art and practice that marks the beginning of the stargazer's journey, those lovers of the night sky whose day may beginning at the instant before the sun sets, when others find day's end.
This is not an album with Garrison-like music or just plain covers of his music, but an album full of original (and mostly very recognizable) tracks.
The music on both of these CDs is close in feel to the planetarium music of Jonn Serrie, with a serene, deeply floating style that draws the listener into his cosmic vision.

The commonality that links all of his albums together is that each contains semi-autobiographical tales that give the listener a strong sense of what life is like in the Magnolia Projects.
Shortly after he was signed, the label released his debut album, "Solja Rags" (1997), and the underground classic sold nearly 200,00 units throughout the southern region.

She has formed long-term musical relationships with Patrick Leonard, Shep Pettibone, and Stephen Bray, helping to establish some commonality, if not continuity, between her diverse works.
Madonna might return to a previous collaborator or co-writer, though not necessarily from the previous album.
For instance, around the time of Like a Virgin, she co-wrote and co-produced "Into the Groove" with Stephen Bray - a few years later the two also co-wrote and co-produced "Express Yourself".

 Falls Church News-Press
That’s part of the reason that Barr is planning an extensive tour in the United Kingdom, where her sound has been more widely accepted and her new album Lush is on the “A” playlist on ARFM (Sky 913).
As a female rocker, those that describe her are eager to peg her to other more widely-known girl acts, even if their biggest commonality is simply a second X chromosome.
That sense of power comes from the instances where Barr is linked to rock standards like Joan Jett and Chrissie Hynde, whose attitude she admires.

This Bike is a Pipe Bomb packages it all up in an album about the struggles of the imperfect heroes of boxing (among other things).

 NashvilleRage.com: Jeff Coffin- 09.13.01
Immediately, listeners know they're in for a different ride than Coffin's debut, Commonality, as more aurally complex combinations emerge instantly.
This album opens with Coffin's double wood flutes invoking a Far East vibe, transitioning effortlessly into the slightly swanky, upbeat Tuesday's Waterloo, which showcases his mastery of creating loopy, rhythmic, enticingly exotic and infectious jazz arrangements.
Saxophonist Jeff Coffin has made no bones about his love for and interest in exploring international flavors in music.

CD Review of Jeff Coffin - Commonality on Compass Records @ jazzreview.com
If you wish more o' these younger cats would draw inspiration from Rollins' & Ornette's trio work or the Rollins classic East Broadway Run Down, give this album a shot.
Coffin is tart, sardonic, and mercurial, with the "cry" of the blues without "sounding blue." There's a nice use of space & quiet - all concerned realize whatcha put it is as important (if not more important) as whatcha leave out.
Jeff Coffin is a young fella who plays tenor & alto saxes…and that's all I know about him.

Blogcritics.org: John Amen - All I'll Never Need
At first I thought he sounded a little bit too much like Dylan but after the album moved on it became clear that he does have his own sound, there are similarities to other artists, which is a commonality amongst anyone that records music, that is a fact of life, we all have our influences.
Amen has a primary focus; he is a poet/singer/guitar player that carries his message through well thought out lyrics and a folk-rock country sound (for the most part).
John Amen is baked from the mold of the Bob Dylan's of the world.

indya.com Music - Album Review of Sonu Nigam's Deewana
Deewana marked a zenith in Sonu’s career, and every album that he did after this had the standard yardstick to measure up to.
What you have is a surprisingly original effort, with Sonu gliding with the ease of a champion skater on the thin ice of conveying a gamut of emotions within the space of an album.
Both tracks were aired extensively on television channels when the album was first released, and convey emotions which are at both ends of the spectrum.

 Sally Taylor, Apt. #6S
Right away, Taylor hits her listeners with a song that is just so reminiscent of her mother's '70s pop ballads that their commonality in vocal and songwriting styles has to be mentioned.
However, Sally Taylor, daughter of James Taylor and Carly Simon, makes avoiding that sort of criticism difficult with "All This Time," the opening track to her second album, Apt.
Whatever it is, there's no mistaking that Taylor definitely is her mother's daughter.

This track adds a certain sense of balance and assists in further augmenting the album's diversity.
There is a commonality in the bombastic nature of this song and U2's "Vertigo." At the same time, this is unquestionably RPWL.
