Among one of North America's finest, Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium was built in 1978 and has hosted many international sporting competitions such as the Commonwealth Games, World University Games and the IAAF World Championships in Athletics.
The stadium is the home of the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos and Canada's National Soccer team.
