		Le peuplement de l'archipel des Comores s'est constitué à partir du métissage de populations africaine, arabe et malgache.
		Entre-temps, l'instabilité politique chronique des Comores a plongé l’archipel dans la pauvreté et a rendu les habitants incapables de développer leur potentiel touristique.
