Composition series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In mathematics, a composition series of a group G is a normal series
If a composition series exists for a group G, then any normal series of G can be refined to a composition series, informally, by inserting subgroups into the series up to maximality.
That is, they have the same composition length and the same composition factors, up to permutation and isomorphism.

The rubber composition according to claim 1, wherein said diene polymer rubber (b) is selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, high-cis polyisoprene rubber, emulsion-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber, high-cis polybutadiene rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer rubber, halogenated butyl rubber, and halogenated ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer rubber.
In the conjugated diene series rubber composition according to the invention, it is preferable to blend the conjugated diene polymer (a) with natural rubber.

Solvable group - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The concept of solvable (or soluble) groups arose to describe a property shared by the automorphism groups of those polynomials whose roots can be expressed using only radicals (square roots, cube roots, etc., and their sums and products).
A group is called solvable if it has a normal series whose factor groups are all abelian.
For finite groups, an equivalent definition is that a solvable group is a group with a composition series whose factors are all cyclic groups of prime order.

Galois theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The notion of a solvable group in group theory allows us to determine whether or not a polynomial is solvable in the radicals, depending on whether or not its Galois group has the property of solvability.
If a factor group in the composition series is cyclic of order n, then the corresponding field extension is a radical extension, and the elements of L can then be expressed using the nth root of some element of K.
If all the factor groups in its composition series are cyclic, the Galois group is called solvable, and all of the elements of the corresponding field can be found by repeatedly taking roots, products, and sums of elements from the base field (usually Q).

The Spanish 200 series approaches composition as a process; the writing of each composition involves a process, and learning to write better during the three-quarter series represents a process.
For example, when you turn in your second composition to your instructor, submit it in your folder, along with all materials from your first composition.
Composition reflects control of noun/adjective and verb/subject agreement; accurate use of ser/estar, preterit/imperfect, subjuctive/indicative.

The lower central series of G. The series is returned as a sequence of subgroups, the first of which is the group G. The algorithm used is described in [BC82].
The upper central series of G. The series is returned as a sequence of subgroups commencing with the trivial subgroup.

Powell's Books - Composition-Rhetoric: Backgrounds, Theory, and Pedagogy by Robert J. Connors
Composition-Rhetoric is a story of the people who have studied and taught composition in American colleges since the early nineteenth century.
The post-1910 modern period of composition-rhetoric was a period of relative stasis that is usually associated with the pejorative uses of the term "current-traditional rhetoric".
Themodern period lasted through 1960 or so, after which its tenets were challenged and informed by a new discipline, composition studies, the defining characteristic of the contemporary world of composition-rhetoric.

While Dow is known as the mentor of Georgia O'Keeffe and Max Weber, his legacy as a proponent of modern art has suffered undeserved neglect by recent artists and art historians.
In Composition Dow develops a system for teaching students to create freely constructed images on the basis of harmonic relations between lines, colors, and dark and light patterns.
The reappearance of Dow's practical, well- illustrated guide, enhanced by Joseph Masheck's discussion of its historical ramifications, is an important event for all concerned with the visual arts and the intellectual antecedents of American modernism.

The Jordan-Hölder Theorem states that any two composition series for a finite group have the same length.
Furthermore, there exists a one-to-one correspondence between composition factors of the two composition series, under which corresponding factors are isomorphic.
This attack on the structure of finite groups was begun by Otto Hölder (1859-1937) in a series of papers published during the period 1892-1895.

Beginning the Composition Series in 1995, Ehlenberger has repeatedly come back to this style of work, one of his favorite.
Influenced by Kandinsky's and Miro's work early in his education, the artist reflects on the relationship of color and form as reduced to basic geometric forms.
This dynamic tension is further enhanced with the use of luminous color, establishing a precarious balance of the elements in the sculptures.
