Monospaced fonts are typefaces in which every glyph is the same width (as opposed to variable-width fonts, where the "w" and "m" are wider than most letters, and the "i" is narrower).

In DTP computer font terms, 1" hexes are 105.1 points high on 62.34 points of leading (which sounds like 59.315% but it doesn't work out that way; I think it has something to with the fact that the top and bottom of the font are beyond the normal size of a comparable font letter).

Some of my fonts in Internet Explorer and in Internet Explorer based applications are appearing 4 sizes too big(example would be "sender" and "subject line" in Yahoo mail), although some things look normal - like the entire KFFL site.
