Computer Generated Art by Bogdan Soban
Digital art is art that uses digital technology in any of three ways: as the product, as the process, or as the subject.
Computer aided art means that the computer is only a very powerful tool controlled by the artist, and work is created by human (using Photoshop to create images).
Generative art (Philip Galanter) refers to any art practice where the artist creates a process, such as a set of natural language rules, a computer program, a machine, or the mechanism, which is then set to motion with some degree of autonomy contributing to or resulting in a complete work of art.

As a town, Gilbert may not have a large arts budget, but there are plenty of options for youths to get involved in the arts.
Although official town funding for arts programs has been almost non-existent in the past year, classes offered through Gilbert Public Schools and the town's Parks and Recreation Department, along with programs and events hosted by local organizations, work to fill the void for a town where one-third of the population is 17 or younger.
Neighboring cities such as Mesa and Chandler have arts and cultural budgets that are measured in millions, while Gilbert's can be talked about in thousands, due to several tight budgeting years.
