While the previous fleet carriers had been in the vicinity of 900-1000 meters on the keel and carried 96 to 120 fighters, a Midway-class measures over 1800 meters and carries a full three carrier air wings as they were previously defined, with 252 craft total.
Fleet carriers are heavily armored and can take quite a bit of punishment before destruction, but they are not meant for slugfests with other capital ships.
Because of this, the fleet carrier’s complement of heavy laser batteries and missile turrets is primarily used for defensive purposes.

 Confederation Jutland class Attack Carrier
Built around a huge "Phase Cannon", the Confederation class dreadnought is a hybrid starship design which combines the sheer firepower of a battleship with the fighter launching capability of a fleet carrier.
Development of the new class was started in 2655 after the examination of the wreckage of the Sivar class dreadnought which destroyed the Goddard colony with its super weapon.
It was to be a battleship that had happened to carry a fighter wing, rather then a carrier that happened to have the weaponry of a battleship.

It's the same Lexington as in Fleet Action (I'm not sure if it has ever been stated that this is the same one as in WC4, specially since *another* Lexington shows up between those two events), but it will look like all the other Concordia-class carriers, and not like the WC4 version.
If you look at FA, for the most part the carrier groups stay at long range while, some capship squadrons do engage the kats, much more of the action was done with fighters I would expect to see more nav points containing a lot more than 1 or 2, but that way nonetheless.
The Concordia could never get close enough to the Hakaga in order to fire her PTC - she'd be destroyed by Kilrathi bombers long before then.

BWS Princeton - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
BWS Princeton (CV-09) (ex-TCS Princeton (CV-48)) is a fictional carrier in the Wing Commander universe.
Princeton was a Concordia class fleet carrier commissioned in the late 2630s or early 2640s, and serving through the Kilrathi War (though the Fleet wasn't able to activate her from mothballs quickly enough to be useful in the Battle of Terra).
In 2671, she put into the yard for a long-overdue SLEP overhaul; she was finishing up her overhaul and had just taken on her squadron of new Bearcat interceptors when she was captured by the Union of Border Worlds and appropriated into service in the Border Worlds Militia as CV-09.
