  Concrete Moisture Vapor
Concrete drying creates an emission from the slab regardless of whether the concrete slab is below, on or above grade.
Moisture vapor emission from suspended concrete is often overlooked as a potential cause of floor covering failure and this specific problem may be exasperated by the use of light-weight aggregates.
If a concrete substrate has a moisture vapor emission level, in-situ relative humidity or a pH level in excess of that which can be tolerated by the flooring material, the losses are rarely limited to the flooring itself.

Concrete (album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Concrete is a demo album of the early Fear Factory, recorded in 1991 as pre-Soul of a New Machine cuts and re-released on July 30, 2002 on CD.
Although released in 2002, Concrete was originally recorded in 1991 in Blackie Lawless' studios.
Incidentally, Robinson ended up using this album to promote himself, which would eventually lead him to producing Korn, which would make him one of the most sought-out Nu metal producers of the 1990s.

Into Liquid Sky - Music Reviews
Concrete was apparently recorded in 1991 before their first album came out in Blackie (W.A.S.P.) Lawless' personal studio.
Because of that, fans of the first album will probably be surprised to find so many familiar tracks in their initial forms.
Concrete is what Fear Factory would have become if they had stayed a pure death metal act.

The Ectophiles' Guide to Good Music - Concrete Blonde   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-02)
Concrete Blonde is at heart a hard core muscular rock and roll band, and a damned fine one.
Yet this is their quietest album and lacks some of the raw spirit and fire that drove their earlier albums.
But Johnette's subject matter tends toward the gothic, especially Their Best Album Ever, Bloodletting, while the music is nowhere near ethereal or even goth and might be a lot closer to somewhere between punk and metal, but is, in any event, definitely exemplar of the crunchy side of ecto.

Concrete Magazine - Paul Wall Interview
CONCRETE: It is interesting to me that it is being embraced by the mainstream, because it is a type of music mainly inspired by a type of drug.
A have had albums that have been neck and neck, and I had albums where the Screwed version sold more.
I also had one album, The Chick Magnet, where the Screwed version didn’t really even sell, but that was because the record label didn’t really push it as much as the regular album.

This album is heavier than their debut and does not have so much of the country sound of songs like "True." A previous reviewer's choice of "spine chilling" is an excellent way to describe this album.
Concrete Blonde is a 3 piece band consisting of James Mankey on guitars, Paul Thompson on drums, and the incredible vocals of Jeanette Napolitano (she also played bass).
Concrete Blonde is often described as a Goth band.

 Concrete by Fear Factory CD
Fear Factory were among the pioneers of a metal subgenre that became the blueprint for nu-metal as we know it today, their sound typified by down-tuned, syncopated guitar riffing with vocals switching on a dime between death-metal growling and a clean singing style.
This would of been their first album, only they used it as a demo to seal a contract with Roadrunner Records, with which they released all their albums before the big split.
You feel as if you're in a place similar to the album art, and things like this aren't exactly common in artists, but Fear Factory seem to have a niche for visual feels, and it's apparent even on their first recording.

Concrete Blonde - Mexican Moon (1993)
Mexican Moon, the fifth album by Concrete Blonde, is one of those albums, the type where you can listen to it once and still be unsure whether you're going to love it or hate it.
In keeping with the complexity of the lyrics, the vocals on the album are often stunning.
The chorus is even left in English, and the album finishes with something that we've already heard before, a song that would have made an interesting B-side to a single.

Beyond The Threshold: The New Classics
Of course, of those 10 releases, two are remix albums (the "Fear is the Mindkiller" EP and "Remanufacture") and one is a collection of unreleased material (2003's "Hatefiles").
I crossed "Concrete" off the list because it was, in essence, a demo, and was far more extreme and dark than what Fear Factory ultimately became (Burton Bell's vocals are practically anchored in death metal for almost the entire album).
I took the last two albums off the list because "Archetype" was really a retread album, recorded for the fans to show the band was back following the break up; "Transgression" sees the group moving towards a newer sound and really doesn't qualify for classic standing at the moment (at least in my mind).

(Her album's release was delayed when the original label folded.) The album's obscure release is of little consequence because her records typically sell to her devoted cult.
Concrete Love exists on a continuum with her other work in its carefully constructed ruminations on love bathed in her soaring contralto.
The only notable difference between this and Fordham's previous albums is a self-conscious updating of her sound with unobtrusive, if bland, drum machines and guest spots by Billy Preston, India.Arie, and Joe Henry, and several Bonnie Raitt collaborators.

In addition to the albums listed below, a number of tracks from their self-titled album were also included in the soundtrack of the movie The Hidden, and the Blonde's rendition of "Everybody Knows" also appeared in the soundtrack of the movie Pump Up the Volume.
As Concrete Blonde's earliest album, this has much more of a LA garage-band flavor to it than their later albums.
But, as is true with all of their albums, the lyrics remain anything but mainstream.

Archetype (album) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The music on this album returns to the style of the Demanufacture era which pleased many fans.
The new lineup's first album Archetype was released on April 20 2004 on its new record label Liquid 8 based in Minnesota with the band having parted company with Roadrunner Records.
The album was named as the band feels that Fear Factory has led the way for many metal bands leading it to be an archetype of that style as Bell explains on the band's website.

I was also visiting Dean Mah's Concrete Blonde Web site on a daily basis looking for new stuff researching the band's history etc. I decided that if Johnette or Concrete Blonde ever reunited, I would put a tribute to them on my site.
The album was released on the internet briefly off of Dean's site but not having enough disk space on my computer or DSL prevented me from downloading it.

 AZTEC JADE: Concrete eden
'Concrete Eden' is the fourth album by New York based symphonic progmetal band Aztec Jade.
But after having produced a number of 'hard' albums, they are now pointing to new directions, playing a more bombastic symphonic progressive metal and thus appealing to a wider audience.
In fact, the rest of the album is a mix of influences from Rush, Kansas, Dream Theater and Rhapsody: rhythm changes, powerful drumming (machine gun-like double bass), melodious guitar lines and riffs, keyboards are always in support but it gives this album his progressive touch.

Concrete Rose - Ashanti - Song Listings
Now that Ashanti's career runs three albums deep, not including 2003's floptastic Ashanti's Christmas, it's high time Inc head Irv Gotti put the Mary J. Blige comparisons to rest.
Disregarding the ill-suited standards, an Ashanti album is always good for a handful of strong singles, as Concrete Rose helps indicate.
As expected, Ashanti firmly believes this is her best album to date, but it's no better or worse than her 2002 debut or 2003's Chapter II, with the standout singles, decent album cuts, and filler fluff provided in equal doses.
