HALLER, CONRAD J. ; Farmer; born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 20, 1845, is the son of Conrad J. Haller and Christina (Koerner) Haller, natives of Wittenberg, Germany.
Conrad Haller was a soldier in the War of the Rebellion, enlisting on August 11, 1862, in Company A, Seventy-seventh Illinois Volunteer Infantry, D. Greer, Colonel, and serving until June 17, 1865, taking part in fifteen battles.
Medardus, the father, was born in Baden, Germany, in 1828; Frederica (German), the mother, was born September 25, 1828, in the same province.
