Buffy and Willow aren't at all impressed due to the hellmouth reopening and they fail to tell Xander about it because they want him out of the loop.
Meanwhile, Buffy, Angel, Faith, Giles and Willow are at the library trying to fend off the giant multi-headed monster and members of the group of female demons.

Revelations — Faith is mad that Buffy won't lie for her even though she pretended Angel was still dead to protect him, which everyone found out about in "Revelations." Buffy also refers to this episode — specifically to the intervention they did on her after Xander caught her kissing Angel.
Also, while Buffy is pinned under the crate, and the camera focuses on Faith fighting, you can see Sophia sitting up by the crate (and at one point even looking at them), but when they focus on Buffy, you can see that she is still stuck laying down.
What really bothered me, though, was the lack of any reference to "Ted." Buffy thought that she had killed a human, and certainly she was basing her ideas of how Faith must/should be feeling on how she herself felt during that time.

 Buffy - Pastor Steve's favorite show!
Buffy learns what's wrong with her Mom in a well-done scene that shows how one's world and thought processes stop when one hears the word, "Tumor." There's also an exciting plot about some kind of giant Cobra thingy tracking Dawn, but it's the emotions and bond between the Summers women that make the episode.
Buffy and Riley have a moving scene together which not only gives the two ex-lovers closure, but also serves as a parallel to the biblical accounts of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well and Jesus and the woman who was about to be stoned.
In fact, Buffy not accepting any of the guilt the spirits tried to lay on her is one of the highlights of the episode, as is a great "Slayer moment" when we discover that Dawn's "weapon" is a cell phone with which to call Buffy.

Buffy's argument with Wesley about her desire to go to college, the differing reasons Willow and Buffy commit to UC-Sunnydale, the dilemma over trading for Willow, and Willow calling Faith out on her decision to choose "evil".
