Consistency is important not only from game-to-game for an individual team but also from team to team so that statistics can be compared across teams.
Consistency remains the underlying principle with this statistic, as with all statistics.
The only change occurs in the statistical recording of the goal for Team B. Brittany, who was in goal for Team B, should not have the goal charged against her, and her minutes in the game should reflect ONLY her time actually on the field.

LABOUR MARKET INFORMATION BASED ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE RECORDS OF THE PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT SERVICES - Employment Sector
As the statistics are based on a full count on the units which have been registered and which are considered relevant, there is no need to be concerned with the imprecisions of statistics based on samples.
This is obviously one of the strong quality points for statistics produced from PES records as compared with survey-based statistics, together with timeliness and frequency, and this advantage is particularly strong when it comes to the possibility of providing statistics which refer to local labour markets.
The statistical service in the PES has an obvious obligation to try to help the administrative units to improve the quality of the data which they collect, by bringing both individual errors and more general weaknesses to the attention of those responsible for the registrations and by making suggestions for improvements.

STAT/WGSE.12/3: Poverty Statistics: Issues and recommendations for improving Poverty Statistics - Working Group of ...
Consistency, however, is a well-worked concept with formal methods of defining and measuring it in certain circumstances.
In practice analysts often use consistency to indicate whether the statistics remain comparable over time or, less frequently, whether the sub-national statistics in a country estimate the same target parameter or distribution, as in whether the poverty lines of different regions measure the same welfare level (that defines absolute poverty).
The official statistics are supposed to be a combination of estimates from RHS and the Urban Household Survey (UHS) done by another organization in NBS, except that there is even less published documentation on the latter survey and on the procedure for the merging of the estimates.

Consistency - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Consistency means: "the property of holding together and retaining shape." This is the most commonly-used definition of the word.
In decision theory, a voting system is called "consistent" if and only if it guarantees that whenever option A is the winner both in district 1 and district 2 then option A must also be the winner in the combined district.
Consistency is also occasionally used as a synonym for composition, density or viscosity.

Data products: QA: single-run QA - SDSS DR5
The run's QA page gives statistics of a wide variety of internal consistency statistics run on the data, with links to specific postscript figures (and in some cases, tables of numbers) giving the gory details.
Finally, the rms statistic in bins does not measure the number of extreme outliers from the stellar locus, so also shown is the number of stars more than 2 sigma from the median s, w, x, and y values, on the blue side and red side, respectively.
As this example shows, this is a very powerful statistic, and checks for consistency of the internal photometric calibration and the flat-fields at the level of much better than a percent.

Reacting to questions on the 2007 Budget statement, he said some of the figures quoted in the budget such as the GDP and the reasons assigned to lacked consistency adding, "There is the possibility of mis-measurement and the tendency to be political with statistics."
He said GDP was projected at 6.2 per cent to be driven mainly by substantial growth in the electricity consumption in the mining and the manufacturing sectors however the figures quoted for the sectors were insignificant to support.
He said there was an improvement in the fiscal deficit which reduced from 6.7 percent of GDP in 2002 to 2.3 per cent of GDP in 2005, it must be noted that the fiscal deficit as at September 2006 was 4.4 per cent an indication of a worsening situation.

 WUBLAST2
A Poisson probability for N segments is eighted by the reciprocal of the Nth term in the progression, where the first term has a value of (1-rate), the second term is (1-rate)*rate, the third term is (1-rate)*rate*rate, and so on.
Unless S is explicitly set on the command line, its default value is calculated from the value of E. If both S and E are set on the command line, the one which is the most restrictive is used.
This option turns off both the determination of the number of HSPs that ar consistent with each other in a gapped alignment and an adjustment that is made to the Sum and poisson statistics to account for the consistency of combined HSPs.
