  Bogaard History Part III
Chevillon was murdered in cold blood by the Vichy-Militia on March 23, 1944.
The succession transmitted from Chevillon to Dupont was conferred by Antoine Fayolle, a member of the E.G.U. headed by Chevillon and dignitary of the F.U.D.O.F.S.I. The general history of the French Gnostic Church, "L'Eglise Gnostique Apostolique"(Robert Ambelain) states that Fayolle was ordained by Chevillon as a priest in 1938.
Chevillon did not appoint a successor and apparently never intented to choose one either, because Chevillon had signed a treaty with three other 'Church-leaders" (from outside of the Gnostic Church) which stated that if one of the four church-leaders which signed the treaty would die, the others remaining would appoint a successor.

Constant Chevillon was born on October 26, 1880 in Annoire (Jura).
The successor of the Grand Master Henri Dupont, himself the successor of C. Chevillon, unfortunately believed it was good to replace the thirty first superior degrees with the said rite of "Egyptian" for the thirty degrees of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, which were original (Conventicle of Brussels of 1934).
At the death of Jean Bricaud, C. Chevillon took up the torch and definitively cut the relation between the Rite of Memphis Misraim and the Elus Cohen from a part, and the S.O.I. from the other part, of which he named Mme Bricaud as president.

Martinist Order of Unknown Philosophers - (Chevillon-Chambellant Lineage)
This line is descended from the Lyon Martinists, who were the proud guardians - and martyrs for - the Martinist tradition during the Second World War.
The line is distinctly spiritual and Christian in outlook, and owes this strong influence to Constant Chevillon, who was himself a bishop in the independent Catholic and gnostic traditions.
The M.O.U.P. possesses two lines of filiation, that of the Ordre Martiniste, and also that of Chevillon-Chambellant through the Ordre Martiniste de Lyon, which has infused our lines with the very essence of Constant Chevillon's spirituality, and also that of Maître Phillippe de Lyon, who together permeate the whole of our Martinist tradition.

The harmonic series follow a highly original logic but are always based on affinities and attractions between sounds; this gives music of a tonal nature, where dissonance takes on its real dynamic and expressive value, music that is constantly changing, ambiguous, always unpredictable.
By his deliberate refusal of any system, his choice of an empirical process for his compositions, and the constant references to the realities of musical perception, Louis-Noël Belaubre has developed a musical language that respects the auditive awareness of the listener and even invokes its active participation.
The presence of certain "landmarks" means that musical time is understood by the memory moving backwards and forwards in real time.
