Constituent Countries - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The use of the term 'constituent country' to describe legal entities which are not states may be disputed by people who consider the UK itself to be a country in its own right and not simply a legal union of constituent countries.
The term 'constituent countries' is used by official government bodies, such as the Office for National Statistics.
The fourth part of the UK — Northern Ireland — is considered to be neither a country nor a nation in its own right, but rather a part of a nation or a country or a state (which nation or country or state depends on political standpoint).

However, the initial levels of mortality in the base year for each individual country to which these improvements are applied are obtained by adjusting those for England & Wales combined according to the recent mortality data for each individual country compared to that for England & Wales combined.
It is assumed that future rates of improvement will be the same for all constituent countries of the UK as for England & Wales combined.
The projections also provide the aggregate totals for the UK or each individual country to which the numbers in other official projections (eg sub-national projections, labour force projections, household projections) should total.

 The Russian Revolution in Colour!
The action of the Bolsheviks was the outcome of a considered policy and of a clear-cut view of the progressive development of the revolution from its bourgeois-democratic to its proletarian-socialist phase.” [9] Even the Mensheviks were aware of the role of the Constituent Assembly at that stage of the revolution.
The Russian Revolution in Colour doesn’t deal with the nature of the Constituent Assembly and the forces in conflict within it as a reflection of the conflicting forces during the revolutionary process; it doesn’t speak about these forces’ reactions when the Bolsheviks dissolved the Constituent Assembly, or if anybody defended it.
The Russian revolution took place in a backward country; the overwhelming majority of the population of the country were peasants, most were illiterate, and the level of technique and production was very low.

CASTELAR Y RIPOLL - LoveToKnow Article on CASTELAR Y RIPOLL
The Cortes were dissolved, and the federal and constituent Cortes of the republic convened, but they only sat during the summer of 1873, long enough to show their absolute incapacity, and to convince the executive that the safest policy was to suspend the session for several months.
Castelar soon became famous by his rhetorical speeches in the Constituent Cortes of 1869, where he led the republican minority in advocating a federal republic as the logical outcome of the recent revolution.
This resignation was not an unfortunate event for the country, as the federal Cortes not only made Castelar chief of the executive, though his partisans were in a minority in the Parliament, but they gave him much liberty to act, as they decided to suspend the sittings of the house until 2nd January 1874.
