USS Constitution, the oldest warship of the US Navy and the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world (HMS Victory is older, but is preserved in drydock), underwent a massive restoration from 1992 to 1996.
Constitution was floated out of the dock in late 1995; rigging and fitting out work went on well into 1996.
The near-vertical surface at the rear is the transom.

The Bath Street gate led directly to the Edinburgh Dock.  Constitution Street gate was the main entrance for both the Albert Dock and the Edinburgh Dock.
The Shore entrance was the one used if the Imperial Dock was your destination.  This gate was also in close proximity to the steel span bridge that crossed the river connecting the old dock system with the newer one.
Although not using the main dock, the Icelandic liner, Gulfoss was a weekly visitor to Leith as well as the German ship the Adler.

The last time I had seen Constitution was during a TDY ten years ago, while it was in the middle of a refit.
It would have been nice to fit in the WW2-era destroyer at the adjacent dock, but we were beginning to run out of time to do both all the things we wanted to do and all the things we needed to do.

On 15 July, Constitution ran into HMS Guerriere, which was soon joined by four other vessels in chase of the American warship.

The forecast is for a wet and cold and bumpy ride and we will need to keep the boat in conservative mode but not as bad, perhaps, as earlier years.
Probably not in time for the New Year's Eve party in Constitution dock, but we will do our best.
For the first time since all this nonsense started, we have all the gear together and it is now spread around the Sutherland's yard in various heaps ready to be loaded.

Docks at 8am and leaves port at 6 pm.
Well, according to one site I found, Russell Falls is about 70km west of Hobart and on another,Bonorong Wildlife Park is a 30 min drive north of Hobart towards Richmond.
Personally, given the limited time you have available in Hobart (and I'm amazed that they would schedule such a short stop for your ship, but that's another story!), I would take a leisurely walk around the Constitution Dock/ Battery Point area, there's plenty to see and do around there to keep you interested.
