NationMaster - Encyclopedia: Axiom of constructibility
It asserts that V equals L where V is the universe of sets and L is the constructible universe.
The constructible sets are all those formed by certain simple operations on pre-existing sets together with an operation of collecting together all sets formed thus far.
The axiom of constructibility implies the generalized continuum hypothesis and also the axiom of choice.

Axiom of constructibility - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The axiom of constructibility or V=L is a possible axiom for set theory in mathematics.
For example, the axiom of constructibility implies the generalized continuum hypothesis (and also the axiom of choice), the negation of Suslin's hypothesis, and the existence of a simple (Δ

 Constructibility Manual
The basis of this concept is that experienced construction personnel need to be involved with the project from the earliest stages to ensure that the construction focus and their experience can properly influence the owners, planners, and designer, as well as material suppliers.
Constructibility is most beneficial when performed, prior to establishment of a defined scope, during early scoping and design phases.
Constructibility issues concerning scope and design should be recognized and addressed up front, so that a quality set of plans and specifications are produced. The early active involvement of the Region Construction Representatives will also provide them insight into the design intent.

This report defines and describes placing drawings, which are the detailed drawings for the reinforcing bars in cast-in-place reinforced concrete construction.

Constructibility Review: A review of design plans and specifications will help the Owner verify that the design as presented is clear to the contractor, poses no construction conflicts, and is economically feasible to build.
A to Z Construction is often most cost effective during the planning stages of the project, since the firm provides the careful planning and organization skill that can help prevent costly problems during construction.
Construction Inspection and Surveillance: All Owners desire some type of examination of project performance on a continuous or periodic basis to review progress, ensure compliance with specifications and plans, and to review housekeeping and safety issues.

PB Network | Issue 34 | Tower Torsion and Constructibility
There were concerns that the asymmetry of the transverse cross-section of the bridge could cause excessive torsion in the towers and that torsional rotation in the towers might create difficulties during construction.
In addition, we had to examine whether the cantilever portion of the main span deck should be erected concurrently with or subsequent to the erection of the mainline.
We concluded that concurrent construction of the cantilevered ramp would be the preferred method of the two, although construction could be done either way.

Constructibility can be defined as the optimum use of construction knowledge and experience in planning, design, procurement, and field operations to achieve overall project objectives.
Constructibility reviews have the potential to minimize the number and magnitude of changes, disputes, cost overruns, and delays during construction.
Texas AandM Research Foundation has formalized the methodology for making constructibility practices an integral part of the project development process, thereby ensuring that resources will be available, the right expertise is involved, reviews will be performed in a timely manner, and constructibility knowledge and experience will be captured properly for easy retrieval later.

How many real numbers are there?
Rather, I felt that the meta-message in Cohen's result (and a lot of similar results that came in its wake) was that the axioms of set theory should be chosen on pragmatic grounds.
If the Axiom of Constructibility was assumed (as an additional axiom, on top of the Zermelo-Fraenkel system), then you could prove that the Continuum Hypothesis is true.
If you view set theory as an axiomatic framework for constructing sets, and take a conservative approach of constructing only the sets that the rest of mathematics absolutely must have, you end up with the Axiom of Constructibility, and then the Continuum Hypothesis is true.

Mineral filler plays an important role in the construction and performance of hot mix asphalt (HMA) pavements.
Very little attention was given to the study of mineral filler (often referred to as the minus 200 fraction) during the Strategic Highway Research Program, although the Superpave mix design method includes a recommendation on the dust-to-binder ratio.
In certain cases, constructibility and performance can be enhanced with the use of additional filler as long as the filler is properly specified.

By using constructibility reviews at key points in the design process, it is usually possible to eliminate a high majority of these mistakes prior to bid before the 1-10-100-1000 Effect comes into play.
The 50% construction document stage and after the submittal of the 100% construction documents to the jurisdictional review agency are good milestone dates to conduct reviews.

Preconstruction planning helps schools universities complete expansion renovation construction more efficiently   (Site not responding. Last check: )
Any education construction project needs specialized planning professionals to ensure that the project meets the school's program needs, stays on schedule and within budget, and causes minimal disruption to ongoing campus activities.
When schools and universities are undertaking a renovation or expansion, the normal challenges involved in design and construction are heightened by the risks associated with existing building conditions, the logistics of construction in a tight space and, often, continued occupation of the building.
An effective construction strategy involves many elements, including construction phasing, relocation and protection of occupants, careful sequencing and coordination of trades, maintenance of access and egress, effective construction staging, weather protection, and efficient routing of equipment, materials and tradespeople.

A constructibility review is a cost control technique which is based on the review of project construction documents (drawings and specifications) by architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, construction, civil, and other design professionals prior to bidding.
The constructibility review identifies potential claim or problem areas and deficiencies that may occur as a result of errors, ambiguities, omissions, discrepancies and conflicts in design documents.
