  The Nursery – Approach
Too much research is used as a 'test', a pass/fail exam.
What research does best is to help clients understand their idea, their (potential) property and suggest ways to accentuate its positives and eliminate the negatives.
We approach research groups as brainstorms to which we invite a brand's stakeholders, treat the 'respondents' more like 'delegates', make sure all the projective exercises are stimulating not patronising, and it's amazing what they can come up with.

Research - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Research is often described as an active, diligent, and systematic process of inquiry aimed at discovering, interpreting and revising facts.
The term research is also used to describe a collection of information about a particular subject, and is usually associated with science and the scientific method.
It is not unusual for researchers to present their project in such a light as to 'slot' it into either applied or basic research, depending on the requirements of the funding sources.

Unasylva - Vol. 7, No. 4 - Research to increase logging efficiency
Successful cases of such revolutionary research can be likened to such leaps in the change of characteristics of a certain species as are caused by some mutations and which are of paramount significance in genetics.
Research on the correlation of the variable factors in logging conditions with the rate of output is, with some exceptions, more of an aid to sound administration of operations than a means for achieving rapid increase in efficiency.
In contrast, dispersed research in logging efficiency depends principally on those whose main duty is not research; it is often done rather casually on a part-time basis and under various handicaps.

When this was the case in "human-science oriented" education and research, it was not because of the fact that hermeneutic methods itself, forced it, but because of the situation that one simply did not know other methods for empirical research in the field of education.
Research that is conducted from a hermeneutic position, pointing to individual interpretations of authoritative documents as a foundation for action, reduces the variation in the way possibilities and boundaries for deliberation may be understood.
In Finland the research is conducted by Sven-Erik Hansèn and Bettina Cackström-Widjeskog, Åbo Akademi University, Finland.

At a more general level, the course explores such important issues and questions as the ethics of qualitative research, the constructive nature of research activity, the nature of qualitative data, the relation between data and knowledge claims and generalizations, and the limits of methodology and interpretation.
As a class project, students will work through the design of one type of collaborative research project and, as individuals or as members of small groups, will produce a design for a study of their own.

Constructive controversy, therefore, provides a normative procedure based on a theory validated by research on which political discourse may be based.

Dissertation research involves a major investment of the doctoral student's time, energy, and interest and its substance is often the basis for launching a research career.
The intent of the dissertation research grants is to attract larger numbers of underrepresented minority students as mental health investigators and to assist in providing a positive and constructive research experience that will stimulate them to pursue research careers in this field.
For dissertation research grants, review criteria include significance of problem; scientific quality of the proposal; relationship of proposed research to expanding the knowledge base in mental health research areas; research design and research methods; personal qualifications of the candidate; supervision of the candidate; institutional facilities and support structure; and appropriateness of budget.

Constructive methods show plastic capabilities which resemble those of human brain and are able to break complex problems into simpler ones, by growing hidden layers starting from an initial small architecture.
If the inputs and/or the outputs of the given problem are real-valued, a very powerful constructing method is the Cascade Correlation algorithm, for which is possible to forecast the error on the training set when adding new units to the network.

Roffey Park - Research: Constructive Politics
This first phase of research looked at how people defined organisational politics, what they perceived its impact to be on themselves and other people and also examined some of the micro political strategies used by political actors, in particular managers.
The latest stage of the research aimed to discover whether there is such a thing as constructive politics and if so, what is involved.
The research was carried out through focus groups, individual interviews with 25 managers and a survey (The Positive Power of Politics) completed by 105 respondents and unpublished findings from 2003 and 2004 Management Agendas.

Constructive mathematics is the term applied to mathematics that is based on intuitionistic Zermelo–Fraenkel set theory and uses only intuitionistic logic.
One outstanding gap in the constructive research literature is the subject of differential manifolds and Riemannian geometry; no–one has yet produced a reasonable constructive notion of "differential manifold", let alone tackled the really hard problem of developing the theory, through tangent bundles, vector fields, and Lie groups, towards Riemannian geometry.
Ideally, we will produce conditions under which one can construct geodesics on such a manifold; this is likely to be very difficult, since the classical existence proof uses general results about continuous functions that are not applicable constructively and do not even give any clues about how to develop a constructive existence proof.
