		In Nairobi in the late 1960s, bands like the Hodi Boys and Air Fiesta were popular, primarily playing cover versions of Congolese, British and American hits.
		Into the 1970s, benga was at its most innovative, producing numerous popular bands like Victoria Jazz and the Victoria Kings, the Continental Luo Sweet Band and Luna Kidi Band.
		The Luo are best-known for their benga music, which has become the root of most Kenyan pop.

		While the band's music still keeps Kabaselleh's style it will be more than appreciated by lovers of benga music with its solid base and sweet guitar work.
		One of Kenya's best Zairumba bands which was formed back in 1975 and has since then been regularly topping the charts except when they got deported for a while in 1985 after making this album.
		The band's vocal harmonies are superb as they sweetly sing their way through a great set of tracks.
