		Contortionism has been a tradition in China for hundreds of years, and is a common act in Mongolian and Chinese circuses.
		Contortionism is often a family occupation, the skills being passed down from mother to daughter, and with families travelling together as part of the same circus.

		I have been a fan of contortionism all the time, and male contortionists are especially fascinating to me. That's why I love the page of Lars Howe.
		Surely this is a form of contortionism that is not very popular anymore, but I that kind of act can be very nice and exciting to watch.
		I had a passive interest in contortionism when I was younger because so many people remarked at how I would rest my ear on my heel to watch television -- but that all ended when I was pressed into more formal dress (for work, I suppose) -- street shoes hurt my ears!
