In September 2002 we were joined by 35 children from Tinshill Primary who, we are delighted to say, were quickly and successfully integrated into school life.
Our reception numbers for this September also look to be very healthy but sadly, even after the closure of Tinshill, there are still a significant number of surplus primary places at other schools in the Cookridge area.
Our own situation has caused some difficulties but I think we have arrived at a position, after much worry and work, which is not ideal but should mean that the children's education will continue to meet the high standards which we expect at Cookridge.
