Coolock House built around 1798, became the property of William Callaghan in 1809.
When William and his wife Catherine leased Coolock House in 1803, Catherine McAuley joined the household as companion to the ailing Mrs.
In 1855 the property was sold to James Colville, the property remained in the hands of the Colvilles until 1937 when it transferred to the Caffreys.

Coolock regained possession with the clock running down and as the home supporters looked on aghast Lynsey Peat scored the winning points with a superb three pointer in the dying seconds of the game for a historic and memorable victory for the Dublin side.
The scenes of wild rejoicing in the Coolock camp contrasted sharply with the disbelief and near despair of the Wildcats team and their supporters.

The Coolock Church was under the Baron de Nugent until 1275.
Today Coolock is an extension of the city and all farmland has been swallowed up by the development of housing estates.

A couple of late three pointers from Coolock who possess many quality shooters proved the difference, with that in mind Wildcats should be better prepared this time around.

Geoghegan-Quinn): The Garda authorities inform me that there are currently seven community gardaí in the Coolock sub-District, two of whom have special responsibility for the area in the vicinity of the Glin Court Senior Citizens' Centre.
These community gardaí perform regular foot patrols in the vicinity of the centre, and they work different tours of duty in order to provide maximum attention to their area.
In addition, I am informed that mobile patrols from Coolock station have been instructed to pay particular attention to the Senior Citizens' Centre during the hours of 7 p.m.

The drugs were discovered when a car was stopped in the Coolock area this afternoon, 4th November 2003.
A man in his 40's was arrested and taken to Coolock Garda Station where he is detained under section 2, Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act.
The seizure was the result of a operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs Unit and the local Garda Drugs Unit at Coolock.

Coolock are a team that cant afford to loose any points as they are sitting in first position of the league with the only threat coming from Frankfort FC.
Having said that Frankfort, for some reason that remains unknown to me, have five games in hand and it has to be said they face an up hill battle having to win all five of their matches to get on even terms with Coolock.
Coolock are also an impressive team to watch because of their communication, which is why they have succeeded in securing so many points this season.

They were given the name "Quasar 500 Rules" because they would be used to marshal the Irish National Championships of that name, of which there were 6 Tournaments, the last of which took place in Tallaght in 1999.
Since their creation, this set of rules was known as the "Irish Rules", ratified by all Irish Quasar Players, in Coolock, Dundrum, Tallaght and Belfast.

On September 24, 1827, the House of Mercy on Baggot Street was opened.
Anna Maria Doyle and Catherine Byrn, Catherine McAuley's first co-workers, moved into the House, while Catherine herself divided her time between Coolock House, her brother-in-law's home, and Baggot Street.

Established in 1998 in Tallaght from the Reservoir Dogs, the team has so far won 2 competitions (Irish Championships, both in Coolock), and consistently placed high in tournaments since their first competition, the 5th Quasar 500 in 1998.
Until recently were often considered challengers in competitions, but due to the advancement of "covering" quasar, and the retirement of some the team's players in recent years, they have been struggling to achieve high placings.
