  Cooper Test  The Cooper Test monitors the development of the athlete
The "test" can be calibrated to the team members by determining at one or more practices the number of push-ups and sit-ups that the players can do in a certain amount of time.
In the "standard" Beep Test, also known as the Leger Test, the player covers a 20 meter interval at steadily increasing pace, with several (i.e., 7-15) one-way legs (cycles) to be completed at each pace before moving on to the next pace.
In the Birtwell Test, a 40 meter course is used.
