 | | On May 26, 1981 an agreement was signed between the six countries of the Gulf (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates) to coordinate their economic, political, cultural and security policy, thus creating the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, better known by the acronym of GCC. |
