		{¶ 2} Lorenza and Barbara Pearson are the owners of property at 2060 Columbus Avenue, Copley Township.
		{¶ 3} In the spring and summer of 2001, complaints regarding odors and the animals on the Pearsons' property were reportedly made to the Summit County Health Department and to the Chief of the Copley Police Department.

	The Fosston Trail
		Berry's or Berrie's, the earlier of the two, was on the Eccles township side of the road; A.P.Blom's Travelers' Rest was on the Liberty township side.
		The Fosston Trail was the most direct route for settlers coming from some areas of southern Minnesota and for travelers coming from North Dakota; otherwise after 1891, the closest railhead for most travelers and for supplies was Park Rapids.
		Supplies freighted along the Fosston Trail helped maintain Popple, Copley, Clearbrook, Leonard, Bemidji, the Red Lake Agency, Buena Vista, the Black Duck area, and the small homesteaders scattered through the northern parts of the county.

	Caboose Photo Archive
		Copley OH ACandY caboose 63 on display at the Copley Township Park adjacent to the preserved Copley Depot.
		Built by the International Car Company of Kenton, Ohio in 1947, it is believed to be the only one of the six member class remaining.
		The Copley Historical Society (CHS) has kept 63 in good condition, but it needs roof repairs and the exterior professionally painted.

	The Red Lake Trail
		The Red Lake Trail, coming out of Mahnomen County, ran mostly lengthwise through what is now Clearwater County, through the townships of Falk, Copley, Holst, Dudley, Sinclair, and Clover, and more or less north to Red Lake and then east to Red Lake Village.
		There are traces of the trail left, but like the Leech Lake Trail, its route was determined by following the high places and avoiding the low; so it has had little effect on the 20th Century road system, which follows section lines.
		But it served the government and the people of Minnesota well.
