Draw 9 also adds the ability to open multiple palettes simultaneously so that if you were drawing a fruit bowl, for example, you could have each of the apples, bananas and wood themed palettes available.
Draw 9 now offers 90% of the global control of a professional bitmap application and, where this power is insufficient for advanced work or local editing, it also works more closely with dedicated editors.
Draw is such an all-encompassing beast that along with the main innovations each release also brings a whole raft of smaller improvements across the board.

ActiveWin - Corel Draw! 10 - Review   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-09)
Corel Draw 10 menus show icons in front of the commands just like Office 2000 do so you can spot the command you’re looking for faster and if you’re running Windows 2000 you can set this menus to be transparent (so they don’t totally cover your graphic work while you’re surfing in them).
Because Corel Draw 10 is so powerful it even comes with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications that lets you entirely customize the application to fit your needs: with VBA and Corel Draw 10 you can create macros to automate your work, achieve long and painful tasks, etc. But that’s not all.
Corel studied Microsoft work since in the upcoming Office XP they have included to the whole suite a small applet running in the background with the mission to detect crashes and to offer the user the ability to save the work before closing the program to fix the crash.

There are two different ways in which you can create PDF files from Corel Draw: you either select 'Publish to PDF' from the 'File' menu or you print to a PostScript file and use Acrobat Distiller or another tool to convert the PostScript data to a PDF file.
If you choose this option, Corel Draw sends the EPS as is into the PDF as a PS passthrough (This is what PitStop calls 'in-line PostScript' while Adobe uses the term 'PostScript XObject').
