		Corona was founded at the height of the Southern California citrus boom in 1896, advantageously situated at the upper end of the Santa Ana River Canyon, the only significant pass through the Santa Ana Mountains.
		Corona was also home to the Corona road race, a Grand Prix race in the early 20th Century.
		Corona is also the home of the Golden Cheese Company of California, and the Fender Center for Music Education, more commonly known as the Fender Museum.
