I know that Costco Members are very rude to the Costco employees, and attempt to cause trouble for them when they have a chance.
The Costco employees who now stand at the front entrance checking membership ID cards at that location are pleasant and polite, and I have never had a problem with them (or any other Costco employee) since the incident described above.
