		The Counterpunch article charged that Jim Blair, a lawyer for Tyson - best known for advising Hillary Rodham Clinton in her profitable cattle-futures trading - was a charter member of a group seeking to have the airport built.
		Counterpunch co-author Silverstein, referring to the scandals attendant to the Clinton administration, described ``Poultryport'' as ``a classic case - the names are always the same.''

		In "What Ward Churchill Didn't Say," by one MICKEY Z. in Counterpunch, Ward Churchill is defended against the true terrorists, which include, in Mickey's "mind," Golda Meir, Menahem Begin, Henry Kissinger, Bill Cosby, and others, most of whom are misquoted by the lying Mickey.
		Counterpunch proves better than anything else around that the term "Thinking Left" is today an oxymoron in the United States.

		I reported this interesting disclosure in my newsletter, CounterPunch, and made it the topic of my regular weekly broadcast to ``AM Live,'' a program of the South Africa Broadcasting Company in Johannesburg.
		Among the audience of this broadcast was CNN's bureau in South Africa, which lost no time in relaying news of it to CNN headquarters in Atlanta, and I duly received an angry phone call from Eason Jordan, who identified himself as CNN's president of news gathering and international networks.

		The fact that from time to time that we also quite regularly attacked FDR – and posited his foreknowledge of Pearl Harbor – should again be taken as evidence of our cunning in deflecting suspicion away from Ford’s supervisory roile in our affairs.
		In fact we’d put Ford on the board in the hopes (vain, as they turned out to be) that he would persuade film stars to give CounterPunch money.

		Secondly, Counter/Punch is a leftie website from which attacks on Israel are "only to be expected" and hence can be safely ignored.
		The same factor precludes the kind of response that one might have expected had The Case Against Israel been issued by a major publishing house such as John Wiley and Sons, who published Alan Dershowitz's best-selling The Case For Israel in 2003.
		Publication by CounterPunch was a sure guarantee that The Case Against Israel would not be reviewed in the mainstream media and would not be the focus of the kind of concerted vilification to which the ultra-establishment figures Walt and Mearsheimer have been subjected.

		I had actually read Cockburn’s article when it was put up on Counterpunch, and some similar pieces from other Big Alternative sites, and decided to pass on posting them.
		The article is one of the most hollow, dishonest outbursts that I’ve seen in a long time on an alternative news site and frankly, it really knocks Counterpunch, Znet, and the Nation (who also published it), down a few pegs on the integrity board.
		An alternative media group which was relying on Roosevelt Dynasty money to subsidize its work might possibly tend to avoid scrutinizing the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute [FERI} from an anti-corporate/anti-war radical left perspective–especially if the alternative media group’s vice-president was a senior advisor to FERI.
