The best thing about skiing at Courchevel is that you actually spend 90% of your skiing day 'skiing' (going downhill) rather than waiting in long queues (and we were during high-season) or going up the lifts--which are very good and very very fast.
They say hors-pistes in Courchevel is fun, but there wasn't enough snow (a potential dis-advantage when going around December)and whatever snow there was wasn't powder...
