Coventry’s last city centre cinema could soon be producing future stars instead of merely projecting their images on to a screen.
Discussions are under way for the university to buy the 67 year old building – one of the last pre-war landmarks with its distinctive dome and alabaster façade.
It adjoins the university and would be an ideal location for the department of performing arts which is currently based at Bishop Ullathorne Comprehensive School in the Finham district of Coventry.
