Jonathan Pater - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
His online nickname (handle) is CowboyNeal, a name inspired by a Grateful Dead tribute to Neal Cassady in their song, "That’s It for the Other One".
During summer 2005, the former poll editor stopped being in charge and as a result the CowboyNeal option disappeared.
CowboyNeal also appeared on the 2006 April Fool's joke poll titled "What Is Cuter?".

GNAA press release   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-13)
Noted Internet fatass cowboyneal has a new reason to eat a pound of ground beef, only this time it is not deep fried in corn batter and surrounded by curly fries.
The atkin's nutritional approach is driven not by a lower fat intake, or a particularly low caloric intake but rather high protein and high fat in the initial stages of the diet, it is safe to continue induction for up to six months.
GuyNiguere: I'm here with cowboyneal, I am about to go ask him about his weight loss, I may die, but to leave this world in service of the GNAA is the most noble way to go.

forums.anti-slash.org :: View topic - GNAA terrorize CowboyNeal
If you notice the name of the original post, "GNAA terrorize CowboyNeal", you can see that GNAA was responsible for the crapflood.
You can get pissed off that CowboyNeal got crapflooded, and take that anger out on an easy (albeit incorrect) target all you want, but you're being just as simple minded as the people who performed the crapflood in the first place.
Or is this simply a diabolical plan set into motion nearly a year ago, full of deceptive posts and feint identities, masterminded by jack-offs and penisbirds, attempting to get Bush re-elected and to get our enemies to register for our site with false email addresses.

CowboyNeal was supportive, added a link to my monitors from the Slashdot code page and they quickly became the most heavily trafficked pages on my site.
Since my server was relaying the info to over a hundred others, CowboyNeal didn't have a problem with me fetching the Slashdot RDF every 10 minutes (the requested refresh time for individuals is once every 30 minutes).

First off, I would like to say that my knowledge of prototype-based programming was slim to none before I read an article on Slate, an experimental prototyping-based derivative of the Smalltalk language.
The only reason I even read the article was because of it’s relation to Smalltalk, which I’ve been currently thinking about all semester thanks to CS 2340 (CowboyNeal).
That is a good question, and one I asked myself after finding out about Slate.
