Unleashed Coyote Captured in Central Park

At first, parks and animal care officials were not sure the animal was indeed a coyote, and not some scruffy mutt.
Adding credence to this theory was a report from a Parks Department office worker that she saw an animal that could have been a coyote on Saturday, at 149th Street and Riverside Drive, a possible route down from the Bronx.
