Craig Parry was the only player among the leaders who didn't bogey the signature 18th hole on the Blue Monster at Doral all week, and he cemented his victory in the Ford Championship Sunday by sinking an eagle from the fairway in sudden death.
Parry had 176 yards to the flag and with a 6-iron, landed the ball 15 feet short and right of the hole.
Parry dropped a shot at the 13th and Verplank, playing in the group ahead of Parry, was now only one shot behind.
