Craig Starcevich (born May 16, 1967) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL/AFL and currently a fitness trainer.
Starcevich made his VFL debut in 1987 with the Collingwood Football Club.
During the 2006 pre-season Starcevich adopted a controversial policy whereby players were banned from wearing thongs, citing the fact that they could increase the risk of injuries to feet.

I would hope that Craig Starcho would be delighted to have someone so experienced to share the massive load he has had to deal with.
It is possible (although I have no info on this, just my thoughts!), that Craig was kept until Xmas to give some continuity for the players, given GT and all his lackies were sacked and only Craig was left.
