Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston and Sandringham lines will not stop at Spencer Street Station on Saturday 26 November and Sunday, 27 November 2005.
Pakenham, Cranbourne and Frankston lines will not operate through Spencer Street and the City Loop after 9pm on weekdays from Monday, 10 October 2005.
The alteration to these train services is due to the closure of platforms 13 and 14 at Spencer Street Station, part of the station redevelopment project.

Peter Batchelor is trying to create a record for the world’s slowest bus, with the temporary timetable showing some buses will supposedly take 11 minutes to travel from Merinda Park to Cranbourne, a distance railway station-to-railway-station by road of three kilometres.
Although next Saturday’s buses are timed to take six minutes from Cranbourne to Merinda Park northbound, the same buses will supposedly take 11 minutes in the reverse direction.
It will take four minutes to change from train to bus at Dandenong, 18 minutes to get to Merinda Park and a further 11 minutes to reach Cranbourne.
