I love crank yankers, especially season two, but two or more volumes for one season is absolutely ridiculous.

Silverman, like the best comics on Crank Yankers (Wanda Sykes, Kimmel himself), is tuned in to the fact that American accents may be less consistent than they were rendered in the golden age of mimicry, but their inconsistencies are themselves a source of humor.

To their credit the puppets are superbly made (in contrast to the cheaper GTB characters) but I really didn't like the premise to begin with and I don't much like such obnoxious antics unless they are extremely funny.

There are some regular characters on the show as well as special celebrity "appearances." The show has puppet sets, and an endless supply of puppets to play the callers and the people being called.
I've always been a fan of listening to crank calls, so I found this to be a very entertaining show.
Crank Yankers before then you should consider renting this set.
