Come and visit Craven County Recreation and Parks Department's largest park, located on 111 acres adjacent to the  Craven Regional Airport.
The gazebo is near the waterfront area at Creekside Park.  It can seat approximately 8-10 people. Please call (252) 636-6606 to make reservations.  Completed rental formand payment are needed to finalize reservation.

John Reese Craven, 46, was surveying the site of a future soccer field in the park near the intersection of Ambrosia and Poinsettia lanes at about 11:43 when he fell under the wheels of a grading machine, said Carlsbad police Lt. Kelly Cain.
Craven was still alive when paramedics arrived, but died shortly after at the scene, Carlsbad fire Battalion Chief Jeff Sprague said.
Craven's father, who died in 1999, was instrumental in bringing Cal State San Marcos to the area.

The next problem that Rovers came across was the stadiums name, "Wilf Spaven Memorial Ground" or "Clive Sullivan Park" were suggested but Rovers went with tradition and the ground was named 'New' Craven Park.
Rovers have had their up's and down's at the new stadium but as of yet the glory years from the 'Old' Craven Park have not been relived at the 'New' Craven Park one can only hope they will be shortly.
