Crawford Market Named after Bombay's first municipal commissioner, Arthur Crawford, the Crawford Market is at the northern end of the old British part of the town, and faces the crowded inner city.
An elegant covered market, it dominates the skyline with its (A tower with a large clock high up on an outside face) clock tower and (A tall tower that forms the superstructure of a building (usually a church or temple) and that tapers to a point at the top) steeple.
