Crazy is a humor magazine, an imitator of the popular MAD Magazine.
Crazy not only did Mad Magazine-like articles but experimented with fumetti (comic strips with photos instead of drawings) similar to what was seen in Harvey Kurtzman's Help!
Crazy originally featured a short, bug-eyed mascot with a large fl hat and draped in a fl cape, who was called Irving Nebbish.

 Inspired Crazy Piecing
Crazy piecing came into its own in the late 1800s as women hand-stitched the somber silk and velvet scraps from their Victorian finery into elaborately embroidered quilts and coverlets.
Nowadays most crazy piecing is done with ordinary calicos, small prints, and solid cottons, often taken from selected yardage rather than miscellaneous scraps, which is pieced by machine and embroidered by hand or with decorative machine-embroidery stitches.
But in most traditional and some contemporary crazy piecing, the fabric scraps, often chosen for their muted colors, are applied to a muslin foundation cut either to the size of the whole quilt or in blocks to be assembled later.

Splendid Magazine reviews Crazy Mary: Thirsty for Cool
Crazy Mary are an established New York area bar band, and in the best tradition of barroom rock 'n' roll, they're a bit loose and sloppy.
However, despite their limitations, Crazy Mary play with an unmasked joy and appreciation for rock that somewhat redeems the album's ponderous wandering.
Their reverence for rock classics notwithstanding, Crazy Mary don't seem to think they're the solution to rock 'n' roll's problems, and that lack of pretense takes some sting out of the weakness of the material and execution.

Crazy magazine was started in 1973 by Marvel comics.
Crazy magazine lasted until April 1983, making it the 3rd longest lasting Mad imitater (Next to Cracked and Sick).
Part of their demise was their constant reasurement that their magazine was aimed at children but not letting go of their somewhat risque humor.

Splendid Magazine reviews Crazy Mary: Knucklehead
I was surprised to read that Knucklehead is Crazy Mary's fifth album; the songs are thin and hollow, as if a bar-band had just discovered '60s rock-infused psychedelia.
Droning and unaffected, Crazy Mary embraces the genre's ugliest aspects -- drunken crooning ("Invisible", "Brian Jones"), strained British accents ("Brian Jones") and bad jokes ("Let's All Have a Party", "Designer Dog", "Duck and Cover").
Crazy Mary may have scored plenty of critical acclaim in the past, but their eccentricities seem forced here, resulting in an ineffective and impersonal album.

Banks Power | Pontiac Trans Am: Crazy magazine stunt with a twin-turbo Pontiac Trans Am.
Considering that our subject matter is high-powered automobiles, and then you throw in some male ego, valor, and testosterone (all part of hot rodding and high-zoot cars, right?), you can imagine that there have been some pretty crazy, zany, and sometimes downright dangerous car magazine stunts.
But perhaps the craziest car magazine stunt in recent memory involved a Gale Banks street-driven, twin-turbocharged Pontiac Trans Am, Car and Driver's then-staff editor Csaba Csere (pronounce the Cs's like Ch's; he's now CandD's Editor-in-chief), and a string-straight 4.1-mile paved dead-end road known as Mrs.
This zany magazine stunt led to a brief Banks spin-off of the '80s called American Turbocar.

MAGAZINE LAWSUIT SPILLS THE BEANS ABOUT CRAZY ROSIE'S OBNOXIOUS BEHAVIOR   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-20)
O'Donnell had no experience in the magazine industry, as she acknowledged privately and publicly on numerous occasions.
From the inception of the Magazine until early summer 2002, O'Donnell generally was content to leave major editorial and business decisions and day-to-day operations relating to the Magazine to experienced G+J magazine executives, while providing general guidance to ensure that the tone and content of the Magazine reflected her celebrity persona.
Through the summer of 2002, O'Donnell and her entourage became increasingly abusive and insulting to Magazine management and staff, haranguing them and making it clear on numerous occasions that O'Donnell would "walk" and "take down" the Magazine and G+J unless she was given her way on all disputed issues and gained absolute control.
